The Noclip team got a chance to talk to the folks at Bethesda Game Studios while they were in the process of making Fallout 76. They talk to longtime members of the studio like Todd Howard, Ashley Cheng and Mark Lampert about the history of the studio and lessons they have learned over the years.
The History of Bethesda Game Studios – Noclip Documentary
This documentary also goes over a bunch of funny bugs and internet culture that has come about from their games. Like the famous “arrow in the knee” line wrote by Emil Pagliarulo.
They also go over some early design ideas that did not make it. Like the fact that Fallout 4 was originally going to be set in New York.
If you enjoy behind the scenes stuff this is worth watching! Every time I watch a video about Bethesda’s games I see stuff I never saw myself in the game. That is one thing I like and sometimes hate about these games. You never run out of stuff to do or find. But it is almost impossible to see everything. When I do see something new it kind of makes me want to go back and play them. This video was no exception!
