Godot Engine violates its own code of conduct by attacking developers and supporters with vial language. Including mass banning of people that do not agree with them politically. I guess we can’t play nice and build cool projects together anymore.

Hypocrites
Its interesting to me how the people who preach to us about inclusion and hate speech are the same ones who have their demons come out and attack people in the nastiest way they can when someone does not agree with them.
They seem to be delusional and unable to see their own toxic hypocrisy.
The End of My Support
I liked the Godot Engine a lot but I can’t in good conscious support this kind of behavior. So unless things change and somehow get fixed this will be my last post about Godot.
Update: Godot Responds to Mass Banning – No Apology, Blames Banned Users
Basically Godot releases a statement with lies in it. Blames their users. Has not unbanned anyone or taken action against their staff and has not apologized.
On top of that they want users to beg to be unbanned. In their appeal form they added this line.
Those who have been “cleansed” must plead their case and give a specific reason why Godot, in their infinite mercy, should unban them.
Haha the Godot Foundation is dead to me now. I’m not even banned but they will not get any support from me. I have removed myself from everything Godot. I’m not supporting this childish behavior.

There’s not a lot of information yet but there is a promising fork of Godot that a lot of people are jumping to. Its called Redot.
